Lindsey Lohan in Rehab, Again

Lindsey Lohan in Rehab Again

After Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to a 90 day jail sentence stemming from a DUI, the 24 year old actress was soon released after only serving 14 days in a Los Angeles County jail.

Released due to good behavior and overcrowding. Judge Marsha Reval ordered Lindsay Lohan to spend 90 days at UCLA Medical Center Rehab. For the fourth time in her life, Lindsay Lohan was in rehab again. Doctors overseeing the actress saw no cause to keep her in rehab for the full 90 days.

Lindsay was soon released after only 23 days. Court rulings declared outpatient care for the young actress with the following ground rules.

  1. Reside at home until further notice.
  2. Random alcohol and drug testing twice a week.
  3. Participate in psychotherapy a minimum of 4 days per week.
  4. Attend behavior therapy sessions twice a week.
  5. Attend the 12-step program.

Failing the drug or alcohol test will subject her to another 30 days in jail. The numerous drugs that Lindsay was taking were drugs such as Dilaudid, Ambien, Zoloft, Adderall, Trazadone, and Nexium. She was also consuming alcohol with these medications. The actress was taking Adderall for ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). The UCLA Medical Center claims that Lindsay Lohan did not suffer from ADHD. Taking Adderall when you don’t need it can have very adverse side effects, which might explain some of her erratic behavior. The effects are similar to the behavior of people who use meth or cocaine.

Will Lindsay Lohan be in rehab again? The UCLA Medical Center has claimed that Lindsay Lohan has been weaned off of all of these drugs. If she follows the court ordered rules given by Judge Elden Fox, Lindsay can stay out of Jail. There is word that Lindsay will be moving closer to her family in New York to get away from her negative lifestyle in Hollywood.

Lindsay’s visit to the UCLA’s rehab center was not her first attempt at becoming clean. Her first attempt was in January of 2007 where she admitted herself into the Wonderland Center rehabilitation facility and spent 30 days there.

In May of 2007 she entered the Promises Treatment Center for an additional 45 days. In August of 2007, Lindsay entered Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Sundance, Utah for yet a third attempt at getting clean. The question still remains, will Lindsay Lohan be in rehab again?
