International studenet health insurance offers a package specifically for students that covers $300,000 in medical expenses, injuries caused during sports, and medical expenses i incurred due to pre-existing medical conditions.

They also offer another insurance plan, Atlas Travel Plan, that is available to all U.S. citizens travelling to a foreign country. The Atlas plan covers $1,000,000 in medical expenses, missing luggage, and expenses incurred due to an emergency evacuation.

International travel health insurance is something students should give a lot of thought to before traveling abroad. It may be expensive, but the peace of mind gained from the travel insurance is well worth the price.
